for all USMC Civilian and Military SOFA licensed motorcycle drivers island-wide
The purpose of this stand-down is to provide all licensed motorcycle operators within MCBJ, both military and civilian, with refresher training on motorcycle safety issues to include; operational risk management, rules of the road, personal protective equipment requirements, and identifying high hazard areas.
Personnel serving aboard Okinawa area camps and MCAS Futenma are required to attend one of four mandatory motorcycle stand-downs being held on the following dates and locations:
April 26, 9:00 am to 11:30 am, Foster Theater
April 26, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, Foster Theater
April 28, 9:00 am to 11:30 am, Hansen Theater
April 28, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, Hansen Theater"
